Small, all-volunteer and grassroots non-profit based in NJ seeks professional grant proposal writer to assist in a comprehensive fundraising program to complete and install a 9/11 memorial. The organization is established and has been successful over the last 5 years with raising private money for this project, and is now seeking foundation and government grant opportunities. Responsibilities will include:



1. Assist with identifying institutional prospects (this work has already begun, access to research tools will be provided).



2. Develop 3-5 complete submissions to identified grant opportunities (actual number of submissions to be determined).



All work will be coordinated by the contractor with reasonable support from the leadership and appropriate personnel of the organization. Compensation will be hourly and based on a fixed price commensurate with experience. Applicants are requested to submit a resume, cover letter, hourly rate and writing sample (preferably a successful, previous proposal).
