Ending the Rain of Terror: An Umbrella Approach
New York City, NY • 08/21/2007
O, this dismal, grey weather, would that it would end and let the loving lucence of the sun's shining light smile back down on the face of the city.
I know how much you must be suffering.
Well, I'm prepared to give you shelter from the storm.
You see, I have an umbrella. A large one. A bumbershoot big enough for two. And I mean that literally and metaphorically. Who am I to offer such largesse? Well, I'm a guy in my mid-forties with the wisdom to understand combined with an infectuous boyish enthusiasm (hope you got your shots). For those of you who like your men tall, I'm six foot. And for those of you who like you men bald, I can't help you. My head is crowned with silvery tonsors of gunmetal grey.
You're ths sort of woman I could huddle with under my umbrella for hours. Funny, sweet, charming, smart, city dweller.
And I ask that you send your photo with your response. Of course, I'll gladly send mine in return.
