Broadway Technology, LLC is looking for you, an exceptional software developer, to play a key role in the development of our innovative, enterprise class real-time trading systems for the financial industry.
You will be involved in all aspects of Broadway's enterprise software design, development and implementation, including low-level core kernel distributed communication algorithms, business-modeling engine design, and object oriented database system architecture. You will be on the cutting edge of real-time system development and will face exciting technical challenges.
Broadway is looking for candidates with outstanding technical skills. You must have great experience architecting and developing software solutions to solve complex, real-time, business problems. Although specific financial and trading experience is not required, it is expected that these concepts will be readily picked up and well understood.
You will be thoroughly challenged, placed in a position of authority and control, and asked to be a major contributor to the success or failure of Broadway Technology.

Job Requirements
Developing truly productive technology requires a comprehensive understanding of the entire software/system life cycle. A candidate for Broadway Technology will demonstrate a complete understanding of business requirements; thorough awareness of fundamental design and engineering principles; profound appreciation for the overarching business objectives driving development; wealth of practical experience with the tactical tasks required for precise deployment; and the personal discipline to ensure meticulous quality assurance across iterative software/system releases.
The following skills are required:
- Exceptional C++ skill set with at least 5 years industry experience.
- Strong software architecture background.
- BS in Computer Science or related field. Masters preferred.
- At least 3 years of Win32 development experience.
- Excellent grasp of software engineering principles including development and release lifecycle processes.
Experience designing and implementing distributed real-time software systems.
- Ability to learn a new industry and technology quickly.
- Makefile and build experience.
- Good at working both alone and in teams on disparate tasks - highly motivated with initiative and self-management skills.
- Exceptional problem solving skills.
- SQL and database experience.
The following skills are a plus:
- Financial trading knowledge/experience, especially fixed-income experience.
- C#, Perl, UNIX/Solaris, Visual Basic, TIBCO Rendezvous, or Java.
- Experience with trading or financial software, especially real-time systems.
- Experience working with financial broker and exchange APIs (e.g. trade feeds, pricing feeds, order execution) and/or trade management systems.
