Minimum Requirements—H.S. Diploma and experience working with special needs children. Some college a +.



B.S./B.A. degree with a major in Education, or A.A. degree/equivalent in a related field preferred.



Responsibilities include: Providing intervention for the class as a group, subgroups and in individual interactions with the children, given teacher direction  Maintaining the physical design and cleanliness of the classroom, given teacher direction, including developing/making additional materials and maintaining materials in good condition  Facilitating clinician’s work within and outside the classroom in conjunction with the teacher  Participating in the development and implementation of classroom group and individual behavior management systems  Assuming teacher responsibilities (excluding documentation as noted) during absences  Coordinating efforts and communicate with teacher to ensure appropriate programming for each child.
