I was the girl in front of you at the cafe tonight wearing a black dress and a black cardigan with the polka-dotted scarf around my hair. You were in white scrubs carrying something official looking from the hospital. It was clear you were in a justifiable hurry, but you were so polite when the barista was taking his time with my order and flirting with me. (I'm so used to watching all of the self-righteous Dr.s waltz in appearing angry all the time.) You ordered the veggie burger, but the barista couldn't heat it up and you kept, sweetly, trying to convince him that it could be heated up.





I overheard you talking about an emergency coming in, but don't want to go into details on CL. You were on the phone with a loved one. I would love to take you out for dinner sometime. I thought you were really cute, and I loved your energy.
