Broadway Theater Operations Intern (Midtown)

Jujamcyn Theaters is the owner and operator of five Broadway Theatres: St. James, Al Hirschfeld, August Wilson, Eugene O’Neill, and Walter Kerr. The Operations Department seeks a responsible, motivated intern to commit for the fall.
Intern would experience the “nuts and bolts” operations of a running a chain of Broadway theaters and gain an insider’s perspective to the upkeep and maintenance of these extraordinary award winning landmarked buildings. Intern will also come into contact with individuals from all levels of theater operations and management as well as outside contractors and vendors.
You will work directly with the director and assistant director of operations, assisting them with their current projects. You will also help be a liaison between the operations and the general management departments. Interested applicants should have a strong understanding of building operations, and an interest in theatre and problem solving. Must be able to use EXCEL.
School credit can be earned by making arrangements with your department. We require a minimum 20 hours per week commitment, flexible within the hours of 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday. Interviews will take place as soon as possible; internship between early September and mid January. Position would start immediately.
