Non-profit Sunflower Children in need of Volunteers!

Sunflower Children Non-Profit Organization was started in 1999 by Helena Houdova, Miss Czech Republic and fashion model.
Who we are: Sunflower Children is an international family of non-governmental humanitarian aid organizations providing survival and development care for disadvantaged children throughout the world. Sunflower’s survival and development efforts encompass adoption facilitation along with medical, nutritional, psychological, educational, and other humanitarian support that nurtures survival, health, growth and independence for orphaned, disabled, abandoned, refugee and impoverished children throughout the world.
What we do: Sunflower seeks to help children who have been forsaken by their families, communities and other aid organizations. We help Sunflower’s children attain sustainable self-reliance by empowering them through education to have hope where they otherwise would have none.
How we do it:
Sunflower connects our donors with forgotten children who desperately need their care. Sunflower believes in leveraging the internet to minimize the costs of administration and fundraising, thus, maximizing the impact of our donors’ generosity.
We need volunteers to help us reach our goal of bettering the lives of the many underprivileged children.
Sunflower projects focus on providing survival and development support for:
Orphans
Children with disabilities (physical and mental)
Street Children
Refugees
Children living in poverty (malnutrition, neglect, etc.)
Currently Sunflower supports projects in Kenya, Cambodia, India, Colombia, Guinea, Czech
Republic and Nepal.
Responsibilities will vary depending on projects undertaken and your desired level of involvement.
