I thought I already wrote a glowing review. I am going out to look pretty shortly.
Just go to see Miss M at Mousey Brown. She is copied in the neighborhood, but never matched.
The Beehive sucks. Woodley & Bunny is a rip -off. I quit the hip salons and head for the real deal.
It's Madison Avenue work , but in a cool environment. Small, but I dig it that way.
Plus, there are somehow always a few handsome men around. Not that I NEED validation, but I sure dont mind it.
Best prices, best work, and best service in any of the Williamsburg Brooklyn hair salons.
Everyone seems good there , but I prefer the Queen Bee herself.
Book early as she is a little too popular. I can't ever leave with out a hand full of nice hair products, but it is cheaper than the internet , and the old crap that winds it's way into the drugstore on Bedford or up in Greenpoint. She turned me into a Pureology addict. It is sooooo good.My color lasts twice as long.
Well worth every penny I spend at Mousy Browns Salon.
I shouldn't give away my best secrets, but Meredith and company have kept my hair looking amazing for over a year , now. I will never stray. If I ever move back to Montecito one day, I hope there is a mousey brown west. I have saved a small fortune over time, by spending my hair/beauty allowance on color and cuts here. Great prices for luxe work and awesome products. ( I LOVE Pureology )
Meredith is my favorite colorist , ever ; and Mousey Brown is the best hair care I have found in New York. I have been to more expensive salons , and the results aren't nearly as good.
Mousey Brown's Salon is a terrific place. Professional , well priced, nice atmosphere.
It doesn't really remind me of a hair salon .But, In a good way.
Not many 'frills" like booze or hot shampoo boys, but the work and service are top-notch. Miss Mousey is my dirty little secret for real looking grey coverage on my little bit 'o snow on the roof. Bless her. (her prices , too)
