I am the manager of Raising Rover......Unfortunately you may have visited the store on the day we open at 12 noon. We are sorry you felt left out, However the staff is absolutely not allowed customers on the premises until the entire staff is in the boutique and the time is accurate for when the store will open. you must understand we take the security of our puppies very serious and will not deviate from our policy. I do hope you decide to come back to Raising Rover, and please identify yourself as the unhappy ......I'm sure your next experience will be just a terrific time at a terrific place.... WE DO HAVE THE MOST IMPECCABLE REPUTATION IN THE "PUPPY AND BABY INDUSTRY"....

I was standing outside of this store with my two children and my mother today at 10:48 AM. The door was locked. After about 5 minutes, someone came to the door and opened it a crack. We asked when the store opened, and the gentleman said at 11 AM. There was already a customer in the store, but the gentleman closed and locked the door, and made it clear that we were not welcome. We waited until approximately 11:15. In that time, the customer left, but the door was locked behind the customer so that could not enter. We could clearly see the proprieters walking around in the store, and when they saw us looking at them, they turned off the store lights. To the dismay of my young son, who was crying to see the puppies, we gave up on waiting and left. As soon as we left, the doors were opened to allow in other customers.

I have no idea why we were excluded from this store, or what the basis of their discrimination was, but I do know that this was the most rude treatment that I have ever received, and I would strongly urge others not to shop in this store.

One thing that I know about the store is that its regular groomer is the BEST! She loves animals, is kind and caring ... you can't go wrong using her. Ignore the other stuff - rush to get your dog groomed by her (I left off her name, but you'll know who I'm talking about).
